The trend in evangelical spheres to adhere to a literal unchanging view of the Bible may provide short-term benefits, conformity & cognitive economy during a life crisis, but over a long term the dysfunctional internal conflicts it produces is not healthy.
Often it means rediscovering yourself to break free.
